MFX115 – Fifty Shades of Andy Grey

The number one podcast for inappropriate dolphin lovers everywhere is back for another week!  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in this weird world we live in.  On the show this week…

The lads discuss all the fall-out from the epic, “who killed Lucy Beale?” storyline in Eastenders.  They talk Oscar nominations and make a few predictions on who might win.  Plus they lament Madonna’s decision not to allow Grado to use her song for his entrance on TNA TV this week, and write a few new songs for her.

All your emails are answered and once again the lads are lead down a philosophical path about changing your letter for the better and the importance of self-motivation.  Plus a long lost member of the show makes a return to rule on the major controversy than ended last week’s show.

There’s wrestling chat as CM Punk vs. WWE Doctor is covered, plus Samoa Joe leaves TNA and the lads preview Fast Lane…well, they actually just make fun of it.

This week’s weird news stories involve Fifty Shades of Grey and the show is wrapped up with a classic Try Hard Ruler of the Week award!

As always, thanks for listening.  Be sure to get in touch with the show through all the usual channels and shill this show to everyone you know!

The lads answer some emails from listeners.  Abrigo infiltrates a white supremacy internet forum for comedic purposes.  The lads discuss the last couple of weeks of CM Punk related news, including the crazy news he’s signed for UFC.  They also talk North Korea hacking Sony and why Adam Sandler is just the worst.  They also cover a recent change to UK porn laws and so much more.  With Sir Ian back, Duckman on painkillers and Abrigo being Abrigo, this is one hell of a fun show!

MFX80 The RAW Edition is up! Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and life in general. On the show this week…

Duckman unlocks the WWE Network and quickly overdoses on wrestling. There’s a review of NXT Arrival. Sir Ian gives his thoughts on the Oscars and the lads fill out an online survey about Chris Benoit. It’s weird. Plus there’s all your feedback, emails (including a report from DDP’s recent UK show) and all the usual random MFX nonsense.

The RAW review wraps the show up for another week. The lads marvel at how well WWE managed the crowd and how terribly the smarks did in their high-jacking of the show. The Wyatts vs. The Shield delivers again and Bootista hates the world and everything in it. Another fun MFX review of what was a pretty fun edition of RAW.

MFX76 The RAW Edition is up! Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and life in general.

On the show this week…

The lads kick the show off with stories of Sir Ian meeting an important German. Duckman mentions an equality and diversity training course he has to go to next week for his work. This leads to challenges from Sir Ian, horror stories of terrible training courses, tons of chat about race and diversity and a lot of laughs. There’s all your feedback discussed, the lads answer a question about the current state of commentary in WWE, plus a much requested character makes a reappearance and annoys Duckman and Sir Ian no end.

Then it’s on the RAW review. As usual the lads wander off down a few random tangents including the WWE Network, the future of Titles in WWE and what they could do with them to make them matter again, Sir Ian’s hatred of Christian comes to the fore and Bootista stars in a new movie that ends in hilarity. Of course the show is reviewed, but not a great deal happened on RAW this week bar some fun with The Shield and The Wyatts and a great match between Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan. So sit back, relax and enjoy your final slice of MFX goodness of the week.

What a week it’s been in the world of WWE and what a great MFX podcast we have lined up for you. It’s time for MFX75 The Raw Edition, so join Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and life in general.

On the show this week…

Guess what we’re talking about? Yep – CM Punk taking his ball and going home. Plus there’s some chat about WWE’s new TV deal with Sky, KENTA at the WWE performance centre and Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts going into the hall of fame.

We don’t review the Royal Rumble in detail because there’s so many comments from you guys and so many avenues of discussion coming off the controversial PPV. We cover all the issues with Daniel Bryan, unrealistic expectations from fans regarding the Rumble match and so much more.

Then it’s on to the RAW with a full MFX review. The show was quite fun, with a good main event and Brock Lesnar was as scary as usual. Plus we pitch tons of new shows for the WWE Network, all of which should instantly be made.

It’s a long show this week but there’s just SO much great stuff to talk about in what has been one of the most interesting and weird weeks in WWE in a while.

What’s better than Friday? Nothing, right? Wrong! How about Friday with the added awesomeness of MFX? That’s right, MFX73 The RAW Edition is here! Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and life in general.

On the show this week…

A huge opening to the show with chat about clowns, illness, the Golden Globes, Sir Ian gives himself a new nickname, the WWE Network is covered in detail, Warrior going into the Hall of Fame and all your feedback and so much more. There’s more content and laughs in 90 minutes than most other wrestling podcasts can manage in a year.

Then it’s onto the RAW review. Boring Kane is boring. John Cena’s Dad gets punched. Daniel Bryan is awesome but WWE’s storytelling continues to make no sense. Another really fun MFX review of the longest running episodic TV show about dudes in pants pretending to fight.

MFX72 – The RAW Edition

It’s Thursday, which can only mean one thing – it’s time for MFX72 The RAW Edition!! That’s right people MFX is back for another slice of NSFW, side splittingly funny, occasionally insightful, wrestling podcasting malarkey. Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and life in general. On the show this week…

Sir Ian is in crisis. He thought he was old but according to a soon to be published article on him in a trade magazine, he’s ‘relatively young.’ This upsets Sir Ian greatly and amuses Duckman no end.

That aside, there’s a massive announcement of a new partnership between MFX and our buddies at Single Leg Takedown Wrestling. Exciting times ahead and we couldn’t be more proud and pleased to be forming a partnership with such a great site.

The excitement continues with some news of a UK based wrestling film project Rhumble Rama. This movie is going to be a focal point of MFX this year and the story behind how it has come to be made is fascinating and a lesson to us all – chase your dreams people!

Unfortunately the great and interesting movie vibe can’t be maintained as the lads review Randy Orton’s latest turkey, 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded. You’ll be please to know the movie gets the full MFX treatment.

The show is wrapped up this week with a really fun review of a really fun edition of Old School Monday Night Raw. Every segment and match is covered as only MFX can.

Thanks for listening and if you’re listening for the first time through SLTD Wrestling, welcome to the MFX Galaxy!

It’s time for your second hit of MFX goodness of the week. So settle down and spend some time in the company of two idiots who may, or more likely may not, know anything about wrestling. Join Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and life in general.

On MFX69 – The RAW Edition this week:

A huge opening part of the show this week. Tons of hype for the Xmas special, a friend of the show is awarded a nickname, Sir Ian waxes lyrical about 4FW – his local promotion and his plans to support British wrestling in 2014. All your feedback and emails are answered and the lads marvel at the possibility of Bundy Night Raw parties, plus a quick review of Survivor Series and some burying of Wrestle Talk TV.

Then it’s time to wrap the show up with a review of Monday Night Raw. The show was ok. This review is unbelievably entertaining. There are loads of questions and we have none of the answers. Ryback invades the review and Duckman unleashes an epic rant on WWE.

It’s a long show this week and it’s 3 hours of relentless awesome. We promise nothing but entertainment and laughter. You can thank us later.

MFX68 – The RAW Edition

This week on MFX68 – The RAW Edition:

Sometimes recording and producing a podcast is an utter nightmare. This show is one of those times. With illness striking down one half MFX and failing technology striking down the other, this show was a lot of trouble to record but hopefully just as awesome as always.

Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and life in general.

They kick the show off this week with a full of review of one of the worst movies they’ve ever seen – The Marine 3, starring everyone’s favourite pouty, frowny failure, The Miz. There’s all your feedback and emails, plus a quick review of the return of our favourite show WWE produces, Total Divas.

Then it’s on to a full review of RAW from Manchester, England. No HHH and Steph, plenty of smarky chants and some killjoy security guards ruin Superman’s fun.

We’re off for a couple weeks but fear not MFX Galaxy – we’ll be back before you know it with another blockbuster show!

As always thanks for listening and enjoy the show!

MFX67 – The Raw Edition

It’s the second MFX show of the week folks! It’s MFX67 – The Raw Edition.

Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and life in general.

They kick the show off this week with feedback from the MFX Galaxy which leads to tons of weird tangents involving Nazis, dogs, them being a battered wife podcast and loads more random topics. They talk about the passing of Roland Alexander and discuss WWE’s recent financial report and the poor Summerslam buy rate. They discuss John Cena’s plan to elevate the World Title to the same level as the WWE Title. There’s also talk about HHH and Chris Jericho and who really have been ‘the guy’ in WWE over the years.

Then it’s on to the review of Monday Night Raw from this week. It was a pretty terrible show, so most of the review is spent mourning the loss of the protective mat that Big E Langston killed – don’t worry, it’ll make sense when you hear it. It’s a riot of a review as always and you won’t hear a more entertaining review of RAW anywhere. Seriously.

As always, thanks for listening to the show and be sure to get involved in both of next week’s shows through all the usual channels.
