MFX78 The RAW Edition

MFX78 RAW Edition is up!

Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and life in general.

On the show this week…

The usual random opening to the show covers so many topics we can only give you a flavour here. The lads realise they know very little about nerd culture, Duckman loves John Cena’s interview with Stone Cold Steve Austin, there’s all your feedback and emails answered (with tons of random and fun tangents to wander down), plus there’s WWE Network talk and a look at WWE’s 4th quarter financial report.

The RAW review wraps the show up for another week. It’s the go-home show for Elimination Chamber and the lads enjoyed the show thoroughly. There’s a huge amount of marking out for the Wyatts vs. The Shield and Cena vs. Cesaro. Plenty of laughs to be had as Boring Kane high-jacks the show and books his version of Wrestlemania, Drew McIntyre annoys the hell out of Duckman and the WWE Performance Centre takes a turn to the dark side.

Scottish independence, racism, giant kebabs, your feedback, Sir Ian gets eyed up in a gay nightclub, WWE stats and facts. All that and so much more and that’s only in the opening part of the show!

The RAW review is back for another week. An average edition of RAW brings tons of chat about the direction for Wrestlemania, dropping surnames, Josh ‘Sonic’ Matthews finds a new enemy and Batista’s bizarre running style provides hours of laughter.

All kinds of chat in the opening of the show this week, including floods, politics, the gay winter Olympics and other such nonsense. All your feedback to last week’s show is discussed. Plus we lay out a challenge to the MFX Galaxy as a whole and friend of the show Goldferg is also issued with a challenge of his own. There’s also a couple of pieces of TNA related news to discuss.

As requested, Wrestling with Shadows, the famous Bret Hart documentary is given the MFX treatment. Tons of fun watching this film again and reviewing it for you guys.

The IMPACT review wraps the show up for another week. A pretty decent show and a review packed with lots of laughs and usual the MFX goodness.

MFX75 – The RAW Edition

What a week it’s been in the world of WWE and what a great MFX podcast we have lined up for you. It’s time for MFX75 The Raw Edition, so join Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and life in general.

On the show this week…

Guess what we’re talking about? Yep – CM Punk taking his ball and going home. Plus there’s some chat about WWE’s new TV deal with Sky, KENTA at the WWE performance centre and Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts going into the hall of fame.

We don’t review the Royal Rumble in detail because there’s so many comments from you guys and so many avenues of discussion coming off the controversial PPV. We cover all the issues with Daniel Bryan, unrealistic expectations from fans regarding the Rumble match and so much more.

Then it’s on to the RAW with a full MFX review. The show was quite fun, with a good main event and Brock Lesnar was as scary as usual. Plus we pitch tons of new shows for the WWE Network, all of which should instantly be made.

It’s a long show this week but there’s just SO much great stuff to talk about in what has been one of the most interesting and weird weeks in WWE in a while.

What’s better than Friday? Nothing, right? Wrong! How about Friday with the added awesomeness of MFX? That’s right, MFX73 The RAW Edition is here! Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and life in general.

On the show this week…

A huge opening to the show with chat about clowns, illness, the Golden Globes, Sir Ian gives himself a new nickname, the WWE Network is covered in detail, Warrior going into the Hall of Fame and all your feedback and so much more. There’s more content and laughs in 90 minutes than most other wrestling podcasts can manage in a year.

Then it’s onto the RAW review. Boring Kane is boring. John Cena’s Dad gets punched. Daniel Bryan is awesome but WWE’s storytelling continues to make no sense. Another really fun MFX review of the longest running episodic TV show about dudes in pants pretending to fight.

As always, thanks for listening to the show and don’t forget to get involved in future shows through all the usual channels.

MFX73 The Impact Edition is up!!

The bleak days of January are relentless and grey. Thankfully, MFX73 IMPACT Edition is here to warm your soul and tickle your funny bone. Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in TNA and life in general.

On the show this week…

They kick the show off with more complaining about horrible new year diets – even Duckman has jumped on the healthy living bandwagon. The lads quiz Ryback about his latest Twitter meltdown and try to get to the truth of what is happening to the Big Guy. They take a look at two new articles on Single Leg Takedown Wrestling, as well as discuss your feedback to last week’s shows. There’s TNA questions from you guys, plus a chat about Jesse Sorensen’s recent shoot interview with Highspots and Dixie Carter’s actions towards him.

Then it’s on to the IMPACT review for this week. This is MFX’s Randy Newman tribute episode. Duckman and Sir Ian try to use the song, ‘You’ve Got a Friend In Me’ in nearly every segment. Well, they had to do something to amuse themselves while reviewing this terrible, terrible show. Dixie Carter owns the world, TNA has no babyfaces of worth and AJ Styles vs. Magnus is so overbooked and dumb, even Vince Russo would blush. A poor show but a tremendous review!

It’s Thursday, which can only mean one thing – it’s time for MFX72 The RAW Edition!! That’s right people MFX is back for another slice of NSFW, side splittingly funny, occasionally insightful, wrestling podcasting malarkey. Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and life in general. On the show this week…

Sir Ian is in crisis. He thought he was old but according to a soon to be published article on him in a trade magazine, he’s ‘relatively young.’ This upsets Sir Ian greatly and amuses Duckman no end.

That aside, there’s a massive announcement of a new partnership between MFX and our buddies at Single Leg Takedown Wrestling. Exciting times ahead and we couldn’t be more proud and pleased to be forming a partnership with such a great site.

The excitement continues with some news of a UK based wrestling film project Rhumble Rama. This movie is going to be a focal point of MFX this year and the story behind how it has come to be made is fascinating and a lesson to us all – chase your dreams people!

Unfortunately the great and interesting movie vibe can’t be maintained as the lads review Randy Orton’s latest turkey, 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded. You’ll be please to know the movie gets the full MFX treatment.

The show is wrapped up this week with a really fun review of a really fun edition of Old School Monday Night Raw. Every segment and match is covered as only MFX can.

Thanks for listening and if you’re listening for the first time through SLTD Wrestling, welcome to the MFX Galaxy!

MFX71 – The RAW Edition.

Merry Christmas everyone…again. Time for the second MFX show of the week. It’s MFX71 The Raw Edition.

On the show this week:

Duckman and Sir Ian kick the show off with a chat about your feedback to the show, plus another discussion about the WWE Network and their potential new TV rights deal. A short opening to the show this week because we’ve got TONS to get through.

There’s an end of year awards ceremony like NO OTHER wrestling podcast can produce. All your favourite MFX character are on hand to present the awards that YOU voted for!

TLC gets the MFX treatment and so does RAW. These are two of the most fun reviews we’ve done on WWE. The RAW review in particular and the introduction of a John for all Seasons.

It’s the final MFX show of 2013 and it’s a laugh riot from beginning to end. We’ve had a great year this year and we couldn’t have done it without you guys. Well, we could have but it wouldn’t have been as fun.

As always, thanks for listening and enjoy the show!

Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in TNA and life in general. On MFX70 The IMPACT edition this week:

Sir Ian meets the elderly. Hilarity ensues. There’s tons of chat about Twitter, Christmas and your feedback. There’s a serious discussion about the future of TNA, their position in the wrestling market place and what they could do to improve and take the next step as a company. Yeah, we know – you come for the jokes. Don’t worry, while this part of the show is slightly serious and insightful, it doesn’t stay that way for long.

The IMPACT review features Brick Hogan’s return to the show. Sir Ian gets lost in a game of TNA Family Fortune. Duckman struggles to hold it together. A decent little episode of IMPACT, complemented perfectly by this hilarious review.

MFX68 – The RAW Edition

This week on MFX68 – The RAW Edition:

Sometimes recording and producing a podcast is an utter nightmare. This show is one of those times. With illness striking down one half MFX and failing technology striking down the other, this show was a lot of trouble to record but hopefully just as awesome as always.

Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and life in general.

They kick the show off this week with a full of review of one of the worst movies they’ve ever seen – The Marine 3, starring everyone’s favourite pouty, frowny failure, The Miz. There’s all your feedback and emails, plus a quick review of the return of our favourite show WWE produces, Total Divas.

Then it’s on to a full review of RAW from Manchester, England. No HHH and Steph, plenty of smarky chants and some killjoy security guards ruin Superman’s fun.

We’re off for a couple weeks but fear not MFX Galaxy – we’ll be back before you know it with another blockbuster show!

As always thanks for listening and enjoy the show!
