MFX154 – MFX Men: Tales of Hound Dog Past

It’s that time once again – MFX is back to bring you the kind of loosely based around pro wrestling podcast that will tickle your funny bone until you squirt.  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in pro wrestling, pop culture and everything in between.  On the show this week…

Full disclosure here folks: Duckman was pretty stoned during this show.  Unprofessional?  Maybe.  A damn good time?  Always!  The lads kick off with chat about the show becoming the new official podcast of Canadian passports (it makes sense when you hear it), there’s a preview of some fight that’s happening this weekend, not sure if you guys have heard about it.  Duckman reviews The Defenders and finally gets round to watching Logan – safe to say he loved them both.

There’s all your emails answered, with funny stories, drunken tales, Sir Ian being a hound dog and plenty more.  One of the most fun parts of the show as always – you get should get involved with MFX all the time.

Then it’s time for the WWE chat section of the show.  NXT Takeover and Summerslam are reviewed with one show being awesome and the other not so much.

As always the show is wrapped up with the Try Hard Ruler of the Week Award.  It’s a straight shootout between a dumb pervert and some hunters.

So sit back, relax and get your ear holes primed for some seriously entertaining MFX goodness.  The pro wrestling podcast that’s so good, you don’t even need to like pro wrestling to enjoy it!

As always thanks for listening and be sure to get involved with the show through all the usual channels.

MFX153 – The Sir Ian With the Mid Life Crisis Tattoo

It’s that time once again – MFX is back to bring you the kind of loosely based around pro wrestling podcast that will tickle your funny bone until you squirt.  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in pro wrestling, pop culture and everything in between.  On the show this week…

It’s been a few weeks since the last show and despite the best efforts of Fuckface Von Clownstick and his chubby Korean counterpart, the world hasn’t ended…yet.  The lads discuss the world we live in and whether this could be the beginning of the end.  Don’t worry it’s not as dramatic and downbeat as it sounds.  They kick the funny into a higher gear as Sir Ian and his wife get tattoos.  Sir Ian couldn’t be more of his element if he tried.

There’s tons of pop culture chat on the Netflix series GLOW, on other great TV shows the lads have watched recently.  Plus the MFX Galaxy set the tone for the show with their suggestions for topics of discussion including bad food experiences, Disco Inferno being a sad perv and so much more!  They also answer your emails which is always fun.

The lads preview WWE Summerslam and talk the build to all the matches and what they’ve liked and disliked.  There’s an in-depth chat about WWE’s recent booking and how it’s left the lads feeling really bored.

As always the show is wrapped up with the Try Hard Ruler of the Week Award.  It’s a four way battle between dumb kids, dumber kids, Pokémon type nonsense and a man with a broken heart.

So sit back, relax and get your ear holes primed for some seriously entertaining MFX goodness.  The pro wrestling podcast that’s so good, you don’t even need to like pro wrestling to enjoy it!

As always thanks for listening and be sure to get involved with the show through all the usual channels.

MFX143 – WWE Summerslam – Alternative Audio

It’s that time once again – MFX is back to bring you the kind of loosely based around pro wrestling podcast that will tickle your funny bone until you squirt.  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in pro wrestling, pop culture and everything in between.  On the show this week…

The biggest party of the summer is here and the lads are joined by three weirdos to lend their expertise to their review of the show.  It doesn’t go well.  The lads talk the Olympics and a little politics before Duckman has a story about his brother and a drunk old woman at his back door.  After all that it’s time for Summerslam…four hours of Summerslam.  Don’t worry, we skipped some of the crappier stuff!  There’s good matches, bad matches, boring matches and some work/shoot Brock Lesnar shenanigans!  As always, the lads constantly veer off topic and bring the funny like no one else.

You’ve never experienced a WWE show until you’ve listened along to MFX.  So sit back, sync up the show with our commentary and find out how good a WWE PPV can be when it’s sound tracked by MFX.  We bring the funny, you bring the ears.

As always thanks for listening and be sure to get involved with the show through all the usual channels.

MFX127 – In a MFX Galaxy, far, far away…

Two shows in two weeks, praise to the Lord!!  MFX is back and while we might have some slightly dodgy audio, there’s so much greatness on this show, you can’t really complain.  Although you probably will.  Anyway, join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in this weird world we live in.  On the show this week…

The lads talk Ashley Madison, Josh Duggar and wonder just how horny, pervy and weird we are as a society.  The answer is very.  They talk Donald Trump and Jeremy Corbin – two politicians that couldn’t be any further apart on the political spectrum, but who appeal to the far fringes of society when main stream politicians suck.  The lads also have great fun taking the piss out of premier league footballer Jermain Defoe and his recent terrible advertisement for a personal assistant.

All your emails are answered, with talk of a super smart Octopus and the lads cast Star Wars using you guys in the MFX Galaxy!  Plus the lads talk NXT Takeover, Summerslam, Raw and the stuttering Diva’s revolution.  That’s right, plenty of pro wrestling chat on the show this week.

There’s the latest instalment of the terrible Harry Potter vampire fan fiction.  Plus the first edition of the new movie trivia quiz for Sir Ian called Top Trumps!  MFX Galaxy, you aren’t going to enjoy this and you MUST step up your game for the next show!

As always the show is wrapped up with the Try Hard Ruler of the Week Award.

This is our last show for a few weeks as the lads are off on holiday.  So be sure to check the show out and be sure to get all your Top Trumps and Try Hard nominations in for the next show!

This will be our last show for a few weeks, so enjoy, share, celebrate and LOVE MFX101!

MFX Show 58

MFX58 – Bye Bye Brick Hogan, Our Guy.

We thought when TNA let DOC go that 40% of our jokes on the IMPACT review had gone. Well, say goodbye to the other 60% because TNA released Brick Hogan. What a tragedy. In honour of Brick’s memory, every song on the show this week will be in tribute to Brick. She’s gone, but never forgotten.

It’s MFX58 folks and while our hearts may be broken at the loss of Brick, there’s still plenty to love about MFX this week. Join your heroes as they traverse the week in WWE and TNA as only they can.

They kick the show off this week with talk about the loss of Brick. There’s all your feedback, emails and other comments. We hear about Sir Ian’s night clubbing, which didn’t go well. Duckman shares a report on Ric Flair getting drunk off his ass and high jacking a Q and A session for the new WWE 2K14 game. Plus they find out why Christian doesn’t like blue dots.

It’s time for the IMPACT review. The show was Hardcore Justice. The matches were good. The segments and storylines…not so much. Story of the last six months in TNA really. The review is fun, Chris Sabin Man-Child is back and there’s plenty of other gigglesome moments for you to enjoy.

Summerslam review is so much fun. A great show, with great matches and a Ryback skit that could spell the end of Ryback’s friendship with Nee Nor!

They wrap the show up this week with a review of Monday Night Raw. It’s a fun show, with some interesting discussion on the future storylines in WWE. Then Ryback appears in a shower skit and the whole show goes to hell!

As always, thanks for listening and enjoy the show!

Holy crap is it that time of the week once again? You’re damn right it is! That’s right folks MFX is back once again with our own inimitable look at the week in WWE and TNA. This week Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps are on top form but don’t take our word for it, go listen to the show to hear for yourself.

Of course we can’t start the show without plugging Duckman’s recent interview with ROH TV Champion Adam Cole for our friends at Wrestling Rambles. But that’s not all, friend of the show Pip Kick has been doing some interviewing of his own! With who? You won’t believe us when we tell you, so you better get listening. Plus Duckman reveals the next guest he will be interviewing and shares a story about his shit day.

Then Duckman and Sir Ian dissect Summerslam 2012 with all the matches covered. It’s one of the biggest WWE PPVs of the year and we give it the full MFX treatment.

WWE Monday Night Raw, the follow up show to Summerslam is covered. Duckman has not laughed as much during one review as he did for this one. One of the most fun reviews of Raw we’ve ever done. If only for the discussion about Chewbacca Kardashian and Silent Rage, Scott Armstrong!

Then it’s on to TNA Impact, Brooke Hogan’s Jaw fell over everyone! YAY! We review the show, we mourn for the loss of the Claire Lynch angle, we LOVE AJ Styles and his logic! Plus we try to work out who Aces and 8s are. Nick Hogan may be their get away driver, that’s all we’re saying…

We finish off the show this week by answering YOUR questions.

Enjoy a curse filled, NSFW, vaguely entertaining look at your shameful pastime.

You know how every week we say MFX is a great show? And most weeks that’s true. Well this week it’s a GOD DAMNED FACT! Nearly 4 frigging hours of the kind of wrestling podcast that is so good, it’s banned by the IOC because of its performance enhancing qualities!

This week MFX 15 lives up to our tag line – We Bring The Length – as we’ve got nearly 4 FRIGGING HOURS of MFX fun! What kind of fun and games have we got for you? Only all this:

Duckman and Sir Ian give their final tribute to Team GB and the London Olympics. We salute the genius that is William Regal. Plus Duckman has some big time news on Brock Lesnar guy (his current hero). And that’s just in the first 15 minutes of the show.

We plough through WWE Monday Night Raw 1003 the go home Raw for Summerslam. All the major moments and matches are covered in the usual MFX way. By us making fun of most of it but there were some good moments this week. Mainly involving the only cool feud in WWE at the moment, HHH vs. Brock Lesnar.

Then it’s a TNA fans dream as we review the go home Impact for Hardcore Justice and of course, Hardcore Justice itself! Keep an ear out for our amazing new movie series, Bourne Gunner. Plus Ian wishing death on a certain TNA wrestler…let’s call him Barrett Gischoff. We cover all the major moments from Impact and HCJ in this marathon TNA love a thon!

In the final part of the show we get serious for a change, well as serious as MFX gets, as we discuss the AW firing in detail. Plus we answer your emails and Duckman and Sir Ian give you the rundown of their 3 favourite wrestling matches of all time.

We know we’re biased and we say it every week, but this show is AWESOME! We had a ton of fun recording and we hope you guys have even more fun listening. You know the drill by now: kids to bed, beer opened, light a fat one and settle down as MFX is back and we aren’t leaving until you’re laughing!

Thanks folks, enjoy the show, leave feedback, send in topics/questions/praise/abuse – all that good shit and be a part of the MFX Galaxy!

Duckman…Before we begin the fun can I just say, fuck my crappy Scottish internet connection and also fuck Skype. The call quality is a bit crappy on some parts of the show this week but it shouldn’t spoil things for you. Hopefully that’s just a one off. Ok, back to the show!

Another week and another MFX Podcast. That’s right the single most entertaining couple of hours of your life is back once again!! You want to hear two jaded and slightly too sarcastic for their own good Brits talk all things WWE and TNA? Then you’ve come to the right place.

This week Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps kick the show off with more MFX love for Team GB and their fantastic performance in the London Olympics. Look, this kind of thing doesn’t happen to us very often, so we’re going to make the most of it! We also manage to crowbar in a question from a friend of the show about WWE GMs and which one will get fired first!

Then it’s straight into our review of Monday Night Raw. It was another three hour slog through car theft skits, strange booking decisions and Daniel Bryan stole the show once again! Plus we include your comments on Raw to add a bit of variety to proceedings.

TNA Impact review up next. Another solid show from TNA focused on the James Storm and the Aces and Eights angle. Plus we enjoy Christopher Daniels and Kaz more than two grown men really should. Honestly, those two are the most entertaining guys in all of pro wrestling! We also enjoy Kurt Angle and his interactions with Garrett Bischoff – it’s a lot of fun.

We wrap up the show this week with a chat about everyone’s favourite hair flicking, quad tearing, worked/shoot loving cock rocket, Kevin Nash and his recent comments. Plus we review a match from Japan where a ladder is defending its title and yes, the ladder is a better worker than Kevin Nash!

So just the usual MFX chatter you’ve come to know and love. So sit back, put the kids to bed, open a beer or roll a fat one and enjoy MFX 14. The most fun you can have with a wrestling podcast without getting arrested.

Oh and there’s a gold theme to all the music this week in honour of Team GB! Thanks MFX Galaxy and enjoy the show!

They say 13 is an unlucky number but not when it comes to the MFX Podcast! Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps are back for another week bringing you the most entertaining, informative and foul mouthed wrestling podcast in the known universe.

We open the show with a chat about the London Olympics, the opening ceremony and why people who didn’t like it (mainly our American friends) are so, so so wrong. We actually get quite passionate about this whole thing. Weird. We also reply to your emails and discuss such diverse subjects as NXT, underdogs in the Bound for Glory series and friend of the show Alex K gets in touch about an incident in CHIKARA last week and a request for help from the MFX Galaxy!

Then it’s straight into our review of WWE Raw 1001. It was horrible. We barely made it out alive. Where’s our gold medal? Three hours of social network grooming, recap videos and horrible segments. The show wasn’t fun but hopefully our review is! Plus we get into quite an in depth discussion about Randy Orton’s return, the Wellness Policy and whether or not it’s just a giant waste of time. See, we can be serious some times.

TNA Impact is next up. We run down the show, the good, bad and the gut check. We cover all the major angles from Impact last week including the mystery of James Storm and Aces and Eights. Plus we have a great deal of fun with the weird Austin Aries and X-division guys skits. Plus we challenge you, yeah you, to get interactive with MFX and make us laugh. But not in a creepy WWE way…honest!

It’s a cracking show with more laughs, insight and downright entertaining wrestling discussion than is technically legal to consume in one sitting.

So sit back, relax and enjoy the only wrestling podcast you need on your playlist! It’s MFX baby and nobody does it better!
